EAST NEWTON HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF ‘71 TO HOLD 40TH CLASS REUNION!
A 40 year reunion for ENHS Class of “71 will be held on September 03, 2011, at Daddy Jim’s, Neosho, MO. It will start at 6:00 pm, with dinner (large menu choice), slide shows, trivia, memorials, and music. Cost is $30 single, and $50 couple, payable at the door., or $25 single and $45 couple paid in advance. The theme for this years reunion is “Love, Peace, and Flower Power”. Come join the fun, and have a great evening! Casual dress!!! A shopping tour is planned for Saturday afternoon, to Joplin Mall, for the ladies, and a tour of the new fish hatchery is planned for the guys. Please meet at Booneslick Lodge parking lot at 1:30 pm if you choose to attend these. For early arrivals, Friday night we will meet at the same parking lot at 7:30 pm. A fun evening out will be planned, TBA. The tours, shopping, and Friday evening out are at your own expense, and not included in the reunion cost.
Booneslick Lodge, Neosho, will be the host hotel. Please let them know you are with the Class of ‘71 Reunion when making reservations.
Also, we need photos from all the classmates, for the slide show. Prefer digital, but if you choose to mail, they will be returned to you (call for address info). If you have any memorabilia from that time period, please bring with you for the memory table!
A photographer will be on hand for individual and group photos on Saturday night, and orders for photos may be placed with her that night.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE GRANBY MINING DAYS CELEBRATION. THAT IS A CELEBRATION AND THIS IS THE OFFICIAL REUNION which has been in the planning stages since last November !
